In cases of severe weather, New London Counseling Center’s operational hours are held in conjunction with Avon Grove School District. Please note the following:

 

• In cases of full day school closure: New London Counseling Center will be closed and all appointments will be rescheduled. 

• In cases of 2-hour delay: New London Counseling Center will open at 10AM and all earlier appointments will be rescheduled. Appointments after 10AM will proceed as scheduled.

• In cases of early school closure: Time of office closure will be determined by New London Counseling Center and all appointments after that time will be rescheduled.

• In cases of cancelled after school activities: Time of closure will be determined by New London Counseling Center and all appointments after that time will be rescheduled. At minimum, no appointments may be held after 7pm. 

 

Cancellation due to inclement weather will be communicated to patients via phone unless otherwise arranged. In cases of expected severe weather, we strongly suggest checking voicemail prior to leaving for your appointment and confirming receipt of any cancellations with our office.

 

If you have not already done so, please consider registering your client portal account with us to ensure clear communication in times of severe weather closure and emergency cancellation.

 

All patients whose appointments are cancelled due to severe weather conditions will be contacted upon reopening of New London Counseling Center. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
